1) PLENARY REPORTS
Subject:
- surgery for diseases of the vitreomacular interface (through, non-through tears, VMTS, films)
- surgical treatment of AMD complications (submacular hemorrhage, NVM)
- surgery for complications of diabetes (DMO, traction retinal detachment)
- surgery for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment
- surgery of a combat eye injury
- various (uveitis, complications of cataract surgery, pediatric vitreoretinal pathology, Coats disease, neoplasms, congenital anomalies (disc pit, colobomas, retinoschisis), prevention of complications)
- IOL fixation in the absence of capsular support
The structure of theses of reports:
- Title, authors, place of work, relevance, purpose, methods, results, conclusions
- The presentation must provide information about the financial interests of the speakers
- Language: Ukrainian or English
Regulations:
- report up to 7 minutes + 5 minutes of discussion
2) BATTLE HOUR
Subject:
- Controversial approaches in vitreoretinal surgery
Format:
- each topic is presented by two speakers-opponents, an interactive vote is held among members of the Society before and after the presentations, which will determine whose argumentation was more compelling.
Regulations:
- 7 minutes for each opponent
3) DISCUSSION OF COMPLEX CASES WITH EXPERTS
Format:
- Interactive discussion with experts interesting cases from clinical practice.
- Language: Ukrainian or English

- 5 min presentation + 5 min discussion
4) COMPLICATIONS AND ERRORS OF VITREORETINAL SURGERY ;
Format:
- Presentation of clinical cases with complications or errors during operations
- Language: Ukrainian or English

5) MY SURGICAL “LIFE HACKS”
Format:
- Demonstration of original solutions for improving surgical techniques, instruments, equipment, etc.
- Language: Ukrainian or English

6) VIDEO CONTEST
Format:
- MP4 file
Regulations:
- up to 5 minutes

7) PHOTO COMPETITION
Photographs must be vitreoretinal in nature and accompanied by a short description.
Format:
- jpg, heic, jpeg, png
- Abstracts of plenary reports or a brief description of a clinical case / complication / improvement (post through the Google Photo service and provide access to the file for download) / photo should be sent to e-mail: [email protected]. Video and photo materials can also be posted through the service Google Photo or another available file exchange service and provide access to the files for downloading to
e-mail: [email protected] - After receiving the materials, a message will be sent to the contact author.
- Reports should not contain material of an advertising nature.
- The decision to accept or reject theses for the report is made by the organizing committee congress and is final.
- Speakers must be registered at the Congress.
- The number of materials submitted to the Congress by one author or a group of authors is not limited
